Itinerary

    Depart Sapporo

    We set off from the meeting spot in two sports cars.

    Nikka Yoichi Distillery

    We arrive as the distillery opens and walk the stone-built grounds. Bottles you cannot find abroad are sold here (no tasting for drivers).

Insurance & coverage

All rental cars used on the tour are covered by voluntary insurance.

  • Bodily injury liability: unlimited
  • Property damage liability: unlimited
  • Vehicle coverage: up to market value
  • Personal injury protection: 50 million yen
  • Non-operation charge: applies if the car needs repair or cleaning after an accident or breakdown

How the tour works

  • You drive the car yourself
  • The guide leads or follows in a separate car
  • We do not organize lodging or transport

Who can join

  • A valid driver's license is required
  • Manual-transmission cars require a manual license
  • Drivers must be 21 or older with at least 1 year of driving experience
  • Foreign licenses require an International Driving Permit under the Geneva Convention (or equivalent documents); licenses from mainland China cannot be used

Alcohol on the day

  • At the Nikka Yoichi Distillery you can buy bottles, but there is no tasting
  • Drivers cannot drink alcohol on the day of the tour

Cars & departures

  • The tour runs with 2 sports cars
  • 2 to 4 tours per month, one group per day
